About the Speaker

Anna Castillo-Gutierrez -  CRCST, CIS, CSPDT, CFER

Anna Castillo-Gutierrez is a sterile processing professional and educator, with ten years of sterile processing experience. She is a leader focused on education and departmental compliance, interdisciplinary collaboration between Perioperative Services, Infection Control and Quality. She was the previous Sterile Processing Program Director with curriculum development experience. As a manager in a level 1 trauma hospital, she oversaw sterile storage projects, high-level disinfection training, and held the Sterile Processing Liaison position to mediate between OR and SPD.
