Clinical research conducted with the 3M™ Bair Hugger™ system may not be directly applicable to other forced-air or warm air diffusion systems. Replicating Bair Hugger system research with other modalities could produce different results.


The Bair Hugger Research Compendium includes:

• Summaries of more than 200 articles published between 1989 and 2017, covering a wide range of surgeries in which the Bair Hugger system is either the subject of, or utilized during, the clinical investigation.
• Brief overviews of review articles, case studies and letters to the editor which introduce relevant information or real-world user experience with the Bair Hugger system.
• Chronological history of Bair Hugger system research, along with indexes for both subject matter and lead author.
