    Overview

    The 3M™ Scott™ X-Series Thermal Imaging Camera is used in fires and hazmat environments to increase situational awareness for better decision making in extreme conditions.


    • High resolution and clear image quality through pixel-to-pixel mapping, high-pixel resolution, a fast refresh rate and Intelligent Focus™ feature
    • Lightweight design, pistol-grip handle that is easy to hold with gloves and can be used left or right-handed
    • Three versions to choose from: a one button, three button and five button version, with features ranging from basic functions to 2x and 4x zoom to image capture for viewing areas like attics and crawl spaces
    • Three-button and five-button versions have hot spot tracking for identifying hottest part of fire scene, high-risk areas and seat of fire, along with a cold-spot feature to pinpoint thread or valve gas leaks
    • Tactical colour allows firefighters to see structure through colourization with colours growing in intensity from grey to eventually red as the temperature increases to above 1100 degrees Celsius
    • Digital Video Recording feature is ideal for training applications
