Webinar 12: Modelling of Bioprocesses to Understand Manufacturing Costs and Sustainability

  • Summary

    Date: Wednesday June 21st 2023

Time: 11 am CEST / 10 am BST

Speakers: Andrew Sinclair, Biopharm Services and Hani El-Sabbahy, 3M

    Event language: English

Advanced material-based technologies offer the ability to intensify processes by enabling faster mass transfer, being able to operate in a broader range of conditions and deal with a diverse range of particle sizes. In this webinar we will examine the impact of process intensification on sustainability through advanced material solutions.

We are delighted to have a guest speaker, Andrew Sinclair from Biopharm Services, a leading provider of bioprocess modelling and knowledge management tools that support bioprocess innovation. His work aims to understand the impact of innovative technologies on biomanufacturing with a focus on single-use systems and continuous processing.

    Specifically we will cover below:

    • An overview of process modelling approaches.
    • An introduction to Biosolve and its capabilities.
    • A case study examining the impact of advanced single use technologies on sustainability. The case study will compare advanced single-use technologies with more traditional approaches.
