  • Speaker Biography:

    Dr. Ibby Younis

    Dr. Ibby Younis is a consultant plastic Surgeon specialising in reconstructive, functional, aesthetic & regenerative surgery both within the National Health Service at the prestigious Royal Free and University College hospitals and privately in several exclusive independent hospitals in London, UK. He has a special interest in breast and abdominal wall reconstruction, skin cancer, body contouring and lipo-modelling. He has a passion for ‘thinking outside of the box’ in salvage surgery of challenging and/or complex wounds and is undertaking exciting clinic research in this area.

    He is the immediate past president of the ‘Royal Society of Medicine - plastic surgery section’ and is the on the ‘UK National Wound Care Strategy Programme committee’. He travels extensively around the world to give lectures, chairs and sits on several international wound advisory panels and is a regular faculty member for various European bioskills cadaveric workshops. He is well known for using innovative products, devices and techniques to push the boundaries and to improve the quality of life for his patients, particularly in the area of wounds.
