    Dr Akit Patel graduated from Guy’s Dental Institute in 2002. He completed a Master’s degree in clinical dentistry in fixed and removable prosthodontics from UCL Eastman Dental Hospital and Institute with distinction and an award for clinical and academic excellence in 2009.

    Dr Patel is an experienced prosthodontist with special interests in minimal intervention, adhesive dentistry, fixed and removable conventional, implant and cosmetic rehabilitation.

    Dr Patel works at Perlan Specialist Dental Centre (part of Bupa) in Eastbourne, East Sussex. He is also a Clinical Senior Teaching Fellow in Restorative Dentistry at UCL Eastman Dental Institute, and a lecturer in Dental Implantology at Bristol University, where he teaches on their Master’s programmes. He is responsible for restorative courses, workshops and lectures for ITI and 3M.
