3M Architectural Finishes brings innovation and renovation to Milano Design Week 2025.

3M continues to develop designs that do more with less material, ensuring their products meet high standards of functionality and beauty while contributing to a better future. By focusing on innovative design and refurbishment solutions, 3M aims to reduce material usage, enhance product resilience, and support the remodelling of existing structures.

A.RIA (Air) installation

For their third consecutive year of partnership, 3M has a space in the Archiproducts Building on Via Tortona 31.

The room is completely renovated using products from 3M's architectural portfolio, including 3M™ DI-NOC™ Architectural Finishes, 3M™ FASARA™ Glass Finishes, and 3M™ Dichroic Glass Finishes, to express the theme of "A.RIA" (Air). It will feature iridescent accents, effervescent shades, mixed metals, and light reflections and incorporate forms and materials that appear heavy and bulky but are lightweight and floating.

The theme for 2023 and 2024 builds on 3M's "Earth and Acqua" installation last year, which launched the 3M™ DI-NOC™ 2024 New Collection and highlighted 3M's commitment to offering a wide range of technologically advanced architectural and decorative finishes while improving the environmental impact of its products. The design integrates the innovative 3M™ DI-NOC™ Architectural Finishes E-Series RC Recycled Film made in part from bio-based materials, including recycled paper and scallop shell powder.* This film recently won an iF DESIGN AWARD, one of the most prestigious design recognitions in the world.

3M's range of innovative, science-based interior and architectural design finishes can help you transform spaces and create new, unique environments.

"We invite everyone to visit the incredible transformation of the 3M Room during or after the Salone, which was made possible simply by changing the surfacing and highlighting design efficiency through the reuse of furnishings,"

Said Yo Suzuki, Global Design Leader at 3M.

"We want the space to inspire designers and architects to reimagine what's possible using diverse and versatile 3M architectural finishes."

The 3M architectural showroom will remain open for 12 months, serving as an inspirational space for architects, designers, planners, and consumers to evaluate the infinite solutions offered by its adhesive coverings. For more information please contact us

*E-Series Recycled Content Film has a base film layer made with 80% post-consumer recycled polyester and a coloured layer made with 20% scallop shell powder as a bio-based filler.
