In today’s challenging business environment, you need a reliable precision cleaning solution that delivers successful results for key applications such as cleaning engines, breaks, injectors, circuit boards and electronic devices to optimise your processes and resources to gain efficiencies, but without compromising on worker safety or environmental impact.
A solution that can safely be used on substrates such as steel, cast iron, aluminium, alloys and composite materials and does not leave behind any residue, whether particulate or chemical, is also essential to protect the quality of your components. This also avoids the need to re-clean parts and long-term reliability issues that could result in a costly product recall damaging the reputation of your company.
3M™ Novec™ Engineered Fluids have been developed as a safe, efficient, sustainable and affordable replacement for highly regulated CFC, HCFC and HFC solvents. They are not subject to any restrictions under the F-Gas regulation. Due to their low surface tension, outstanding wettability and excellent material compatibility, Novec fluids have a high level of penetration, allowing them to get into tight spaces and precision clean hard-to-reach areas, without leaving any residue behind.
In this session we will have a guest speaker from Acota who will present how the vapour degreasing process using 3M Novec fluids works and the benefits of this precision cleaning solution. Acota have over 20 years’ experience working with 3M Novec fluids in precision cleaning applications in a wide variety of industries, such as aerospace, automotive, defence, electronics and medical. Acota is a specialty materials supplier to industry throughout the UK and Europe. Their experienced technical team, including chemists, bring together chemical and engineering disciplines to provide cleaning, coating and thermal management processes.
Join us for a free, comprehensive introduction explaining how the automotive industry can benefit from precision cleaning solutions that will improve manufacturing and maintenance processes.
